‘Call the Banners’ series by Rhys Cooper
In celebration of the second season premiere of HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, Rhys Cooper created a ‘Call the Banners’ series with each banner representing a House. There are a planned 6 banners in the series (maybe more), and Rhys has 3 of the banners unveiled so far. He plans on opening the series to a full subscription for all 6 banners (w/ matching numbers) and a variant subscription as well.
In addition, you can pre-order just the first 3 banners (wave 1), and in a separate pre-order, the final 3 banners (wave 2) at a later date. He’ll do his best to match numbers if you pre-order wave 1 & 2 separately. Each wave will include a bonus. Cost is tentatively $90 per wave, $180 for the full 6 print subscription, and $240 for the variant 6 print subscription. The size of each banner is tentatively 12″ x 38″. The subscription and wave 1 goes on sale as a timed edition (24 hrs) on Tuesday, April 10th (Monday, April 9th afternoon/night in USA) HERE.

The Art of Moonalice
I’ll be attending an exhibit of Rock Posters created for the band Moonalice.
Moonalice is a band that commissions a poster for every gig and gives them away for free. Since the band’s formation in 2007, Moonalice has produced a unique series of over 450 original gig posters with artwork from over 20 artists.
Moonalice posters feature artwork from many of the legendary poster artists of the psychedelic 60’s as well as today’s top rock poster artists. Moonalice is a band that lets poster artists do what they do best — make art! Unencumbered by standard constraints, Moonalice posters are as diverse as the artists who create them.
On Sunday, April 8, 2012, Moonalice proudly presents a concert and poster show at the Brooklyn Bowl.
