Since 2001, Steven Spazuk developed and perfected a unique technique that allows him to use the flame of a candle as a brush to create his artworks made with soot. With a variety of unusual tools, it carves carbon deposits left on the paper to bring up the light. Resulting in remarkable works.
His most recent exhibition, Convictions and other interpretations, was the subject of an international media buzz. Articles about his work have been published in the United States, England, Italy, Spain and South America among others. He has received many interview requests from all over the world including Japan, Britanny, Canada and Russia.
