First Look: “Looper” by Martin Ansin
Details surfaced of the latest poster from Mondo earlier today. “Looper”, which is a time-travel thriller starring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, is set to be released in theaters on September 28th.
For this release, Sony and Mondo had artist Martin Ansin create a poster for it. There will be 2 editions: Gold and Silver and they look to be up there with Ansin’s best work yet! These limited edition prints will be available for sale at Fantastic Fest beginning on Friday, September 21st.

Changethethought artist and founder Christopher Cox will release his first ever screen printed film poster for the classic German Expressionist Silent Horror Epic “Nosferatu”. The poster is a 24″ x 36″ Screenprint with GID inks and is available in both a Regular (Ed of 170, $40) and German Variant (Ed of 70, $60) editions.

It’s Halloween season soon and Michael De Pippo’s latest print is “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” presented by Dark Hall Mansion. It is an 18″ x 24″ Screenprint available in 2 different editions: Standard (Ed of 280, $65) and Variant (Ed of 50, $100). There will also be a run of 10 of each style (Standard and Variant) printed on 18″ x 24″ wood for $225 each.

Chuck Sperry will have variant editions of his “Vertigo” movie poster available this weekend. Regular editions were first released via Spoke Art at last weeks screening of this movie at the Castro Theatre. There will be Gold and Bronze variants, each 18″ x 24″ 4-color Screenprints. Blisters The Directors Cut curated by Print Club London, will be hosted once again in the stunning MC Motors venue next door to Print Club’s Studio on Friday 31st August (Private View 6-10pm) and Saturday 1st September (12-5pm). Blisters The Directors Cut will be showcasing 40 Screenprints by established artists and newbies to the scene alike. This year all the posters are derived from movies including The Royal Tenenbaums, Star Wars, The Outsiders, Metropolis, Planet Of The Apes and Psycho. There are 40 total artists involved, each contributing a Screenprint with an edition size of 40, and cost £40 ($63US) each.
