Gallery Openings/Exhibitions

Then on Friday, Galerie F will be hosting an opening reception for Beyond the Infinite, a space exploration group art exhibition curated by Adam Hanson. It is a screen print focused show that explores the genre of Science Fiction featuring new work from some of the best print makers from around the country. The show dives deep into the world of astronauts, aliens, androids, and alternate realities to create work that not only celebrates the Science Fiction genre but also provides a new perspective on it as well.

The opening reception will be Friday June 21st from 6-10pm at Galerie F located in Logan Square. There will be beer as well as several of the artists in attendance.

“Oldboy” by Ghostco

Ghostco created this movie poster of the 2003 South Korean mystery thriller for the upcoming screening held by 5 Reel Film at The Adelphi in Leeds on June 30 (Book tickets). Really nice! It is a A2 size 4-color Screenprint with a limited edition of 80. They will be available at the night of the screening and then online on Wednesday, July 3rd at 20:00 GMT (12pm PDT) HERE.

Star Wars Posters by Jon E. Allen

Jon E. Allen is currently funding a Kickstarter project for some Star Wars Trilogy posters he created. Each movie poster is an 18″ x 24″ 3-color Screenprint, signed/numbered edition of 150 each, and a pledge of $35 gets you whichever poster of your choice, or with a $100 pledge you get all three. Help him reach his goal of $2,500 to get these printed.

Tomorrow we will be releasing two new prints by Tom Whalen. First up is a continuation of our LOONEY TUNES series, with his print for the hilarious, medieval short KNIGHTY KNIGHT BUGS. Special thanks to the Freleng and Blanc estates for their ongoing help with this series.

The other is a print for the inimitable, classic THE WIZARD OF OZ. We are very proud of this one. It is an 11-color screen print, that is not only one of our favorite pieces by Tom, but one of our favorite prints of the year.

Dark Hall Mansion unveils its second installment in the ‘DHM-Seminal Film Series’ with nothing less than 1925’s epic, “The Phantom of the Opera” starring the inimitable Lon Chaney and rendered strikingly by artist and collector favorite, Laurent Durieux. Incredible! It is a 24″ x 36″ Screenprint available in regular (Ed of 200, $65) and variant (Ed of 100, $100) editions. Each colorway will have a wood edition (10 each) available for $250 each.
