Recently, Laurent Durieux put up a copy of his “U.S. to Europe By Air” variant along with the original concept sketch for raffle to raise money for Sophia Bijou Valdez. Sophia is the little daughter of Mathias Valdez of Lastleaf Printing, who printed this fine poster and they need your help. She was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and 100% of the money raised from this raffle will go to support the ongoing treatments that Sophie is receiving. Great print for a great cause!

How to enter raffle:

Paypal $10 for each raffle ticket to John Davis at postermount@gmail.com. You may purchase as many tickets as you wish. Each ticket purchased will be assigned a number on a publicly viewable spreadsheet HERE. Include your name and SOPHIA RAFFLE in the notes of your payment. This raffle will run until Saturday, June 15th and will be promoted publicly in all the poster groups. At the end of the raffle one of Laurents children will draw the winning number on video.

“Our latest poster for Dave Matthews Band for their show at the Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania, pays homage to the city’s moniker, “The Electric City”. We went for a semi-literal interpretation of that name by creating a skyline comprised of varying sizes and shapes of lightbulbs, while also including some of the city’s historic landmarks. Seasoned Scranton historians will recognize the first-of-its-kind electric trolley system as well as the famed “Electric City” rooftop sign.” -DKNG
