“Krampus is a mythical creature recognized in Alpine countries. When the Krampus finds a particularly naughty child, it stuffs the child in its sack and carries the frightened child away to its lair, presumably to devour for its Christmas dinner.”
I got to be involved in a printmaker portfolio exchange on a Krampus theme this year, and this was my contribution. I think it’s important to replace some of the joy and good will of the holidays and inject a bit of mortal terror to really make the season special for our children. (By which I mean your children.)
