Brain Ewing will have a couple new prints titled “Suicide King” and “Suicide Queen” available soon. They were part of a group exhibition called The Royal Couple at The Get Up Gallery in Las Vegas NV.

Each print is an 18″ x 24″ 7-color Screenprint, signed/numbered edition of 115 each, and cost $60 each. On sale Monday, January 9th HERE.

“I had this beautiful Italian caved moulding but the colors of the two sticks didn’t match. I sanded them down, painted them black, used steel wool then antique coppered the highlights. This was finished with 3 coats of varnish with steel wool between each coat. -John F.”

Shepard Fairey will be releasing a new print next week titled “Occupy Protestor”. This image was first seen on the cover issue of TIME magazine.

It is an 18″ x 24″ Screenprint, signed/numbered edition of 450, and cost $60. Proceeds go to Occupy Wall Street. On sale Thursday, January 12th at a random time HERE.

Thumbtack Press is one of those sites that you can get lost in exploring the diverse group of art that is available for purchase. Not only is their website incredibly smooth and easy to navigate with a variety of usable search methods (by artist, genre, subject, etc), you can also customize the size and format of your print. This gives you an advantage when you want to fill up a certain space on your walls with a certain print, and can get it to fit just the size that you want it. You can get it as a paper print, canvas print, or framed print. Also, their new “Virtual Room” feature is really helpful in getting a first hand view on how the art would look like on your actual wall. Greatness!
