Anonymous Ink & Idea has a new gig poster for The Chariot in their stop in Austin, TX tomorrow night. I like this posters sense of duality with it’s quiet serene foreground and a sense of impending doom in the background. Great stuff.

Alamo Drafthouse Cinema/Mondo is pleased to present a 6 print series by Kevin Tong, each based on a legendary story from Grimm’s Fairy Tales. They’ll all have editions of 225 (plus 95 metallic gold variants) and will be released every Thursday for the next six weeks. This week’s entry is based on “Rapunzel”.

AJ Masthay has a pair of prints titled “MSG Totems” for sale later this week. “These totems celebrate the six new years dates (past and present) at the Garden, going all the way back to 1995 with classic imagery from each year along with the iconic Grand Central clock about to strike midnight on NYE.”
Each panel will measure approximately 6.5″ x 23.5″, consist of 7 colors, signed/numbered with an edition of 150, and cost $40 for the set. Totems are meant to be viewed alone, or as additional panels for the “MSG Rapture”.

Funds raised at the event will be used to expand Drop In The Bucket’s vital programs into the northern region of Bahr el Ghazal region of South Sudan. This area is on the verge of a major humanitarian crisis due to the sudden influx of returnees coming from North Sudan following South Sudan’s recent independence.
Brett Amory has a number of prints of his ongoing “Waiting” series for sale at his store site. His blurred and cloudly images of everyday life seen through his eyes depict a sense of meditative anticipation of sorts. Great stuff. His prints are now on sale HERE.
