Gallery 1988’s annual cult movie art show, Crazy 4 Cult, opens in New York this Thursday, August 9th! For the first time in 8 years, Gallery1988 will hold an exhibition in New York at a pop-up gallery for one month. The opening reception will take place this Thursday, August 9th from 6-9pm, and will run through September 1st. Online sale to follow, stay tuned…

… until I purchased a piece and was asked to pick it up Sunday after the event had closed. Only one problem: when I showed up they could not give it to me! Hey, at least they only wasted my entire Labor Day Sunday, and kept me from purchasing something that I could actually own (I chose the piece over several others I was considering)!
