Poor form to be passing around her presale link, let alone advertising that you’re doing it.
Hi, your input on this is valued. Presale/mailing list posts are always handled a bit differently than normal posts. I do try and respect those that are on the mailing list, and those ppl deserve priority. That said, for these kinds of posts, this is my approach:
1. Make a post informing the date of the regular non -mailing list sale and publicly provide a link to the store (link provided is the NON-active link to the print).
2. Inform readers that prints can be obtained via pre-sale via mailing list. And I provide a link on where to sign up for mailing list.
3. And lastly, for those not currently on the mailing list, but would really like to purchase the print, I offer a link to the presale only via email from me. This is done somewhat discreetly much like PMing a link to a fellow art forum member, etc.
Do you think it would be better served if I completely omit the option for readers to email me for the link? Thanks again for your thoughts on this.

Yes, step 3 should be abandoned. I think it comes across as a bit disrespectful to the artist’s wishes. It’s meant to be a bonus to those that have made the effort, regardless of how small, to sign up for their mailing list. If the artist wanted everyone to have the link, they’d just post it for sale.
Omitted. Though it feels a bit futile since I see the link being freely posted and spread on other sites/forums. But yes, I am always attempting to respect the artists wishes in any of my posts and the last thing I seek to do is slight the artists intentions in any way.
This is a great Sol piece, I hope that ppl that actually want this will get it as intended.
