“Being a long time fan of David Lynch so I was more than happy to deliver a first ever authorized poster print for one of my favorite movies of all time, “Mulholland Drive”.
This hypnotic, dream-like and surrealistic film with brilliant music and top-notch acting made a huge impact on me back when I was an art student, and I keep coming back to it with great pleasure, discovering something new every time.

There are many unforgettable scenes which I was tempted to focus on when designing this poster and even more hard-to-forget characters I felt I needed to include, but after creating a series of different mock ups, I decided to focus on one character in particular that I personally find most disturbing and interesting. My intention was to design a poster that, when viewed from the distance, portrays a faceless and mysterious Cowboy,
and only after looking from up close reveals other essential characters to the story such as Betty, Rita, Adam Kesher, Coco and more.

Last but not least, with this print I wanted to pay a homage to one of the Polish Poster School masters Waldemar Świerzy and his unbelievably beautiful poster for Midnight Cowboy.” – Gabz

“I chose to bring attention to the Estuary Environment in my print depicting the sea-dwelling, nature spirit “Oceanid” for Pangea Seed. I live in San Francisco and I am part of the Estuary Environment of the Bay Area. Estuary dwellers, whether they be marine mammal, fish or fowl – or human being – are my kind of people! Many weekends me and my girlfriend can be found roving the Northern California Coast with binoculars, spotting harbor seals and sea lions.

My dawning realization that we are all interconnected by the fragility of the environment has found me upgrading my printing methods for a low environmental impact with my new wash-out sink filtration system and ink clean-up disposal and recycling. Making these changes took some effort, some expense, and are by no means perfect, but I’m doing my best. I am blessed to share my little sunny spot in nature with incredible beings, and I feel incredibly honored to be part of Pangea Seed’s efforts to protect our precious ocean environment.” – Chuck Sperry
