“I have always been a huge Star Wars fan and I cannot even describe how profoundly thrilled and honored I was when I was given the opportunity to work on the original Star Wars trilogy. I had been actually planning to work on a personal Star Wars triptych for months, preparing rough notes and occasional sketches, so the timing could not have been better. I am truly delighted that Joe and the studio gave me freedom to do whatever I wanted.

Although at first I planned on doing something clean, iconic and centered primarily around Luke Skywalker, in the end I decided to try to capture the most of SW plot with very carefully picked characters and essential scenes from all 3 episodes. I would not like to reveal all the details so that the fans could discover all the hidden clues themselves. Thus, I will just say that I started building the composition around the Dark Side represented by Darth Vader and his conflict between the soon-to-become-a-Jedi-Knight, Luke Skywalker. The toughest part for me was to maintain the balance between the left and the right side of the piece where not only the lightsabers had to be exactly in the same spot (to form a triangle in the middle), but also I wanted to squeeze in as many characters from each episode as I could without making the picture all too overcrowded. This was hardly an easy task!

There are many amazing SW prints out there, but I do not think I have ever seen anybody trying to do the original trilogy on one canvas before. I do hope that the fans will enjoy the final result as much as I do. Finally, I also want to mention D&L, who were responsible for the printing, and who, as always, have delivered a top notch quality prints. May the force be with you!” – Grzegorz Domaradzki

“I love working on titles that had an impact on me back when I was growing up. First Blood (and Rambo character in general) are definitely among them. I still remember how this great piece of cinema moved me back when I saw it for the first time.

No doubt it was and remains one of the saddest movies from the 80’s. Both me and GMA guys wanted to capture some of that sadness on this image while at the same time keeping it very iconic… almost monumental.

Personally I’m very happy with the outcome. Consider this my final take on one of my biggest “old time heroes”: Sylvester Stallone. Hope I gave you justice John J…” – Gabz

“Being a long time fan of David Lynch so I was more than happy to deliver a first ever authorized poster print for one of my favorite movies of all time, “Mulholland Drive”.
This hypnotic, dream-like and surrealistic film with brilliant music and top-notch acting made a huge impact on me back when I was an art student, and I keep coming back to it with great pleasure, discovering something new every time.

There are many unforgettable scenes which I was tempted to focus on when designing this poster and even more hard-to-forget characters I felt I needed to include, but after creating a series of different mock ups, I decided to focus on one character in particular that I personally find most disturbing and interesting. My intention was to design a poster that, when viewed from the distance, portrays a faceless and mysterious Cowboy,
and only after looking from up close reveals other essential characters to the story such as Betty, Rita, Adam Kesher, Coco and more.

Last but not least, with this print I wanted to pay a homage to one of the Polish Poster School masters Waldemar Świerzy and his unbelievably beautiful poster for Midnight Cowboy.” – Gabz
