In a few weeks, we’ll be coming to LA for a special event in honor of the late Debra Hill. Mondo, along with the PGA, are sponsoring the Debra Hill Film Festival on October 26 and 27 at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles. On the night of October 26, we’ll be screening BIG TOP PEE-WEE with Pee-Wee Herman himself, Paul Reubens, in attendance as well as director Randall Kleiser and co-star Penelope Ann Miller. You can purchase tickets for BIG TOP PEE-WEE right HERE.
The following night, October 27, we’ll be screening HALLOWEEN, in 35mm, with John Carpenter live in-person! Tickets for HALLOWEEN can be purchased right HERE. As of now, tickets for HALLOWEEN are sold out, but there are still some VIP tickets availalble. We will have posters available at both screenings and the purchase of your ticket includes and guarantees your poster. These posters will ONLY be available at these screenings. We will not sell them online before or after the events. You can see images of each of the posters below. Both Ken Taylor and DKNG did a phenomenal job.

Spoke Art is proud to announce the third installment in our ongoing annual art show, “Bad Dads: an art show inspired by the films of Wes Anderson.”
For 2012 we’re taking the show bicoastal with a partial print debut at the New York Comic Con this weekend, followed by the full show later this month at our San Francisco gallery space.
For the New York Comic Con, I’m proud to announce that every print (except Max Dalton’s) will feature an artist signing at our booth, plus, most of the prints we’ll be releasing will be con-exclusive items and available only at the New York Comic Con. Spoke Art can be found at booth #3233.
Additionally, we will be releasing the next print in Tim Doyle’s sold out Unreal Estate series, stay tuned for his follow up solo show with us in February 2013.

6 posters by 6 artists inspired from Seven Psychopaths
For the release of Seven Psychopaths, six great artists were commissioned to create original works (for sell on the artist’s sites) inspired by characters played by likes of Christopher Walken and Woody Harrelson from the upcoming film. Written and Directed by Oscar®-winner Martin McDonagh, the comedy Seven Psychopaths follows a struggling screenwriter (Colin Farrell) who inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends (Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell) kidnap a gangster’s (Woody Harrelson) beloved Shih Tzu. Co-starring Abbie Cornish, Tom Waits, Olga Kurylenko and Zeljko Ivanek.
Artists for the artwork created include: Justin Erickson (Phantom City Creative), Dave Banks, Nathan Goldman & Dan Kuhlken (DKNG), Chris Thornley, Eric Nyffeler, and Todd Slater. They are each 24″ x 36″ Screenprints and are limited editions of 100. Sales and pre-sales start on Thursday, October 11th from each of the artists website.
