Mondo just announced tomorrows drop as a first of a series with Pixar! It’s “Monsters Inc” by Tom Whalen. It is a 18″ x 24″ screenprint, hand numbered with an edition size of 365. Cost $45. No news of a variant in this series. It goes on sale Friday September 2nd at a random time HERE.

Well, the cat is finally out of the bag. The 411 on The Alamo Drafthouse and Mondo’s second Mystery Movie #2 is out. It is “Jurassic Park” done by Aaron Horkey. Those looking to score one will have to either have gotten a MM2 ticket (which sold out instantly) or get one on the secondhand market. Mondo added that Jurassic Park will also later be done by another yet-announced artist, and will be available for online sale timed to Universal’s release of the Jurassic Park trilogy on Blu-ray on October 25th. Excellent.
So for now, for those at the screening, enjoy the movie and this poster! It comes in two versions, a regular (orange, included w/admission) and a variant (blue, additional $200). They are 21″ x 39″ 10 color screenprints. Edition size of regular is 220, variant 75.

Released online today is a print originally created for director Edgar Wright’s Triple Feature at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco on August 26 where he showed “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World”, “Hot Fuzz”, & “Shaun Of The Dead”. It is a 17″ x 22″ Giclee with an edition size of 400 (limited sale online). Cost $50. On sale now HERE.

If you still don’t own a Danger print, well here’s your chance. Tomorrow Mondo is releasing Danger’s “Star Trek” print that originally made its debut at this years San Diego Comic Con. This print is a 24″ x 36″ Screenprint and there will two versions, the regular (Ed size 320, $45) and the variant without any text (Ed size 165, $75). Kevin Tong is also releasing a batch of his Artist Proofs from previous Mondo releases. There will be two versions. A regular (silver version) and a San Diego ComicCon exclusive (gold version). I’ve seen both in person and the metallic paints in both are understated and tasteful. Classy. Both prints are 24″ X 36″ and will cost $80 and $100 respectively. Tom Whalen, is planning on selling his copies of the “Star Trek” and “Paul” movie posters that were originally released by Mondo. These copies are artist proofs (AP) and are signed and numbered.
