On February 5th, FAMP Art be hosting a special free screening of Fernando Meirelles’s incredible Brazilian crime drama, City of God, and releasing a brand new officially licensed, screen printed poster for the film by renowned artist Paul Shipper.
The free screening will be held at Videology Bar & Cinema (308 Bedford Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11249) and will start promptly at 7pm (seating is first come, first served). When the film ends, we will have Paul’s new poster on hand and available for purchase. Any remaining posters will go on sale Saturday, February 6th at 12pm Eastern (9am PST) HERE.

A set of 14 hand-printed letterpress prints measuring 5″ wide by 8″ tall (the twelve months as well as a front and back to the calendar). Each month of this limited edition calendar displays a Spoon&Sailor unique design featuring an animal the artist felt was 100% month-appropriate to intermingle with the calendar facts.
All 14 pages have been lovingly letterpress printed onto 100% cotton (tree free!) paper, each month printed in a unique hand-mixed ink color, punched with a center hanging hole and bound together with a satin hanging ribbon. On sale now HERE.
Alamo Drafthouse Ritz hosted an amazing screening of the 1922 silent film Häxan featuring a live score led by Chicago-based music collective Wrekmeister Harmonies. Mondo was there with a poster for the film by the great Becky Cloonan (in three unique colorways).
