Wilco’s “Incredible Shrinking Tour of Chicago” Poster Series by Pfahlert Creative Labs

Recently Pfahlert Creative Labs was commissioned by Wilco to create a complete poster series for “Wilco’s Incredible Shrinking Tour of Chicago”. Five dates, five different venues in Chicago, and thus 5 gig posters. The results are incredible. These posters are Screenprints with metallic gold inks on red paper and flocked to give it that unique raised, red-velvet texture. Most of these either sold out at the show or very quickly online, however a couple of them are still available at Wilco’s online store HERE.

Dario Argento 9 poster set by Malleus

As previously reported, Malleus is in the works of making an epic 9-poster set based on movies by famous Italian horror movie director/writer, Dario Argento. These will be presented and released via Dark City Gallery. The first movie in line is “L’uccello dalle piume di cristallo” (aka The Bird With The Crystal Plumage). If you have been following Malleus’ blog, you would have seen a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at the creation of this poster (with amusing setbacks) leading to this stunning final result of this instant classic Malleus.

“L’uccello dalle piume di cristallo” is a 20″ x 28″ 8-color Screenprint with an edition of 175 (£40, $62US). There is also a variant version (w/ sparkling blood) that has an edition of 70 (£60, $93US). These will be on sale Monday, January 2nd 2012 HERE.
