Guzu Gallery Presents
Strange Beasts 3: A Tribute to Kaiju & Japanese Pop Culture

November 20, 2015 – New Year’s Day 2016
Opening Reception: Friday, November 20 • 7-10pm

What is that? Can you feel the ground rumbling? It’s time for another Strange Beasts art show…the fan favorite! This time around Guzu will expand the show a bit, and allow other Japanese pop culture influences to sneak in. In addition to the always popular kaiju characters — familiar faces from tokusatsu, manga and anime will adorn the gallery walls!

The opening reception will be on Friday, November 20th from 7 to 10pm and the artwork will remain up through New Year’s Day. Limited edition prints and original artwork will be available for purchase. There will be a bone-crushing, live musical performance by Austin rock instrumentalists, Beast of Dean…and the Bedlam City Kaiju Safety Commission will be on hand to give us a rundown of safety precautions, battle techniques, and what-not-to-do’s in the event of a kaiju attack! Following the presentation will be a screening of Kaijutsu by director Adriel Jimenez. As always, admission is free and all ages are welcome!

**Online sale on Monday, November 23rd at 12pm Central (10am PST) HERE.
