Blunt Graffix presents “Dead Rockstars: A Tribute to the Mortal Gods of Sound”

Next week, Blunt Graffix in Eugene, OR will be holding a group exhibition titled Dead Rockstars: A Tribute to the Mortal Gods of Sound, which will feature an all star lineup of artists paying tribute to our fallen rockstars of the past.

Opening reception will be February 2nd 2012 in Eugene Oregon at Blunt Graffix, a 2000 sq. ft. artist studio. Doors open at 6pm and the show runs through February 24th. The art will then move to THE WAVE Art Gallery, located in the historic Whitaker district, and remain until late March.

“Jurassic Park” by JC Richard

JC Richard is set to release his copies of his “Jurassic Park” & art print tomorrow. It was first released by Mondo back in late October 2011. Very limited quantities are available, signed artist edition, and the “Jurassic Park” poster will cost $100, and the art print $125.

Yosiell Lorenzo is set for a release of a new print tomorrow titled, “We’re Our Only Friends”. It is a 8″ x 8″ 1-color Screenprint, signed/numbered edition of 20, and cost $18 shipped in the USA. Prefab77 has six new prints available first seen at their Lighting Strikes Twice exhibition at The Outsiders Newcastle Gallery last Friday.

Each print is a 84 x 56cm Screenprint, spraypaint, and gloss lacquer onto Oralite reflective film (ie-a substance used to coat road signs and police cars). Signed/numbered editions of 10 each, and cost £150 ($236US) each.
