In his first solo exhibition in Los Angeles since 2009, Jeff Soto’s Nightgardens is a continued exploration into contemporary landscape painting coupled with the idea of myth and the mysterious. The imagery created does not exist in our world yet references real life dilemmas, conflicts and journeys into the unknown.

Galerie F are pleased to announce the second installment of FANTASTIC MR. DAHL – an exhibition homage to the writings of Roald Dahl. Covering an array of works – short stories, adult fiction, and the classic children tales we all know and love.

They have over twenty phenomenal artists contributing to this two week exhibition, opening on Friday June 19th from 6p to 10p.

Pretty Portal presents: Jana & Js in ‘A Matter of Time”

Please join Pretty Portal in Austro-french artist couple JANA & JS for a solo show in the gallery. The show with the title A Matter of Time will open in 12th of June.

Many of the works are painted on old found objects. These support the effect of the artworks, where transience and the after-effects of lived experiences resonate. With the objects, which originate in urban areas, the artist couple link their paintings with the urban surrounding. Likewise JANA&JS place their art as an intervention in the urban space, they intertwine urbanity in their works for the gallery space.

In the exhibition “Matter of Time” Jana & JS show a new series of works that have been painted this year. During the exhibition period Jana & JS and Pretty Portal will publish a limited stencil edition. Jana & Js´s work can be found both in urban surroundings as well as in closed rooms. Inspired by the city and its architecture in the course of time, as well as by the residents and the viewers, they spray urban landscapes, portraits and details of architectures with a play of reflections and transparencies.

Please join Sally Centigrade on Friday April 17th to welcome the parade of characters from the boundless imaginations of artists Tripper Dungan and Mike Graves. The walls of two-dimensional reality will be broken, as the art majority work will be either in 3d color (glasses will be provided) or wood cut diorama. Wine will be served, and both artists will be on hand to greet and discuss their collection of misfit monsters, anthropomorphic creatures and cartoon deities.
