To coincide with HCG’s First Annual Christmas Party they are turning the gallery into an arcade!

The gallery will be filled with classic cabinet games such as Galaga, Pacman, Street Fighter, and more, along with multicarts (60+ games in one cabinet), pinball machines, and modern gaming via our NEW PROJECTION SYSTEM… all games will be on FREE PLAY!

Gaming artwork, from classic to modern gaming will be evenly interspersed throughout. It’ll be a completely different way to experience an art exhibition and we’re beyond excited to share it with you!

Opening Reception – Friday, December 5th, 7 – 10pm

Spoke Art and Hashimoto Contemporary are pleased to present Muses, a new solo exhibition featuring the work of San Francisco based print artist Chuck Sperry. Reigning over the gig poster scene for well over a decade, Chuck has pulled a plethora of ultra rarities from his archives and flat files. The show will be broken up into two parts, with a new body of work consisting of wood panels and paper editions at Spoke Art Gallery and an extensive retrospective on display just a few doors down at Hashimoto Contemporary.

The show opened this past weekend and the artwork looks incredible.

Galerie F presents: Brian Ewing in ‘Scream With Me’

Haunts and horrors prevail long after Halloween’s end inside the doors at Galerie F. They are pleased to present a solo exhibition by Ohio-based illustrator Brian Ewing. Scream With Me is a collection of new works by Ewing focusing on the horror genre.

You’ve seen his spooky optical illusion art prints, first premiered at the gallery in the form of Norman Bates and Jack “Johnny” Torrance. Now step into his world through Ewing’s integration of design, material and anatomy that will create atmosphere of pure terror. Including works on paper and vellum, stickers, and an exclusive vinyl toy release from METACRYPT.

All lucky attendees will receive a limited edition exclusive PATCH custom made just for this event.

Opening Friday November 7th 2014 from 6p to 10p
Free and open to the public, refreshments will be provided.

Moen Mason Gallery opens their doors this weekend presenting, Class War, the work of Nick Flatt. Texas-born Nick Flatt is known for his large scale photorealistic portraits, often with provocative themes gleaned from titles like Excess is Masturbation, Pay to Play, and Pink Threesome. Through the use of models who physically resemble the prototype of those commonly used in mainstream advertising, Flatt whets the viewer’s unconscious appetite for consumption.

Opening Saturday, November 8th 7PM-Late

Galerie F presents: ‘Is For’ – A Children’s Street Art and Printmaking Group Exhibition

Join Galerie F for IS FOR, their first exhibition combining the worlds of printmaking and street art. Two sides of the same coin on display for alphabetology amusement and phonetic fun.

Twenty six printmakers and twenty six street artists have selected their most cherished characters to create two complete yet contrasting alphabets. Each 12″ x 12″ work of art will be on display in this two week exhibition before its transformation into Galerie F’s first children’s book. Details of the IS FOR book release will be announced at a future date. Come find the perfect print for your progeny’s playroom! Consonants and vowels for both the childish and the versed.

Opening reception is Friday October 17th, 2014 from 6pm to 10pm
On display through November 4th.

Free and open to the public.
Refreshments to be provided for all 21+ attendees.

In their first art show collaboration, Augie Pagan and Aaron Jasinski bring us GODS & MONSTERS, an exploration in the iconography of pop culture idols. Aaron and Augie deconstruct our perception of pop culture icons and celebrities, and create a reflective collection of original and limited edition artwork that both entertains the fans and evokes discussion.

Ltd. Art Gallery will be celebrating this show as the first one in our new location at 501 E Pine St., Seattle, WA 98122. Aaron and Augie are two of our favorite artists to showcase and have been regular contributors to our group art exhibitions since opening over 3 years ago. We are honored to begin the next chapter of Ltd. with such an incredible show.

This past weekend at Galerie F was a pop-up exibition for Andrew Ghrist titled, Tiger! Tiger! Featuring original illustrations, pen and ink drawings, and editioned prints, the theme explored the amazing content within Rudyard Kipling’s “The Jungle Book”.

On display now at Galerie F through Tuesday October 14th.
