“Earth Day Tree” by Ian Millard

The next release from Ian Millard is the 4th annual Earth Day Tree prints. This years “Earth Day Tree” is a diptych print set. The 2 prints will be sold together in a matching number set. Each of the prints are created using 2 hand cut stencils and spraypaint. The colors of the prints will be custom, meaning you get to choose them. Below a few samples of different colors below. But you are welcome to get creative and pick your own color scheme.

Prints come signed, numbered and with a hand made certificate of authenticity. Like past years there will be a regular paper edition (Ed of 25, $100 shipped) along with some variants… gold foil paper edition of 9 ($135 shipped), silver foil paper edition of 6 ($150 shipped) and a stretched canvas edition of 3 ($325 shipped).

Here is Chuck Sperry’s gig poster for last nights Refused show at The Warfield in San Francisco, CA. It is a 20″ x 32″ 4-color Screenprint, signed/numbered edition of 125 for the regular edition, and the gold variant has an edition size of 20. “James Bond 50th Anniversary” posters by Max Dalton

This weekend at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco CA, prepare for a marathon on James Bond movies in celebration of its 50th Anniversary. Through Spoke Art, Max Dalton created 2 new posters for the event. For information on attending this event, check out Castro Theatre’s website schedule HERE.

Both posters by Max Dalton are 18″ x 24″ Giclees, limited editions of 250, and cost $50 each. If you attend the screening, you can buy them there, and in addition, the first 15 attendees of each screening will get a free lobby card.

Spoke Arts exclusive partnership with the historic Castro Theatre in San Francisco has released a trio of new prints by Adam Juresko to accompany last weekends triple screening of films by Wong Kar Wai: “2046”, “Days of Being Wild”, and “In the Mood for Love”. They are each 12″ x 16″ Giclees, numbered edition of 200, and cost $25 each or $60 for the set.

Frank Kozik’s “Blink 182, 20th Anniversary” will be available tomorrow. Wow, 20 years already? Where does time go? It is a 22.5″ x 35″ 8-color Screenprint, signed/numbered edition of 100, and cost $82. There may be variant editions available too.

In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of one of the most known venues in Italy, Malleus created a poster for it. “Bloom” is a 50 x 70cm Screenprint that will be available in a regular blue (Ed of 128), a black variant (Ed of 15), and an art print version on red-iridescent paper (Ed of 30). On sale Wednesday, April 25th at a random time HERE.

Inspired by Weezer’s Blue Album staple “In The Garage” which shares a lot of theme’s with The Beach Boy’s “In My Room” this show is about the places we went as children and young adults where we felt safe, from the Mushroom Kingdom, garage bands, to fighting in the Ring against Bald Bull. It harkens back to a simpler time in our lives when the most pressing issue was getting home from school as quickly as possible to save the Princess, or covering three chord punk songs poorly in the basement with friends. It’s the common shared pasts we’ve all had being “geeks.” Finding within our own memories the idea that though we might have been playing nintendo by ourselves, we were hardly alone.
