Michael Hussar’s art is the embodiment of beauty and terror. And in this case, both elements are found on the same side of the coin. As twisted and dark as they are, there is a sensual and evocative maturity underneath each Hussar piece.

Although the Halloween season calls for images of the macabre nature, Hussar crosses those boundaries into a timeless and seasonless zone as it’s art buries deep within the mad and sane alike.

The Silent Giants release a print of the iconic “Elvira” in celebration of this Halloween season. It is an 18″ x 24″ 4-color Screenprint w/ GID ink. Edition of 70 and cost $30. There is also a variant version with 4-colors (3 tones of red, GID White), and an edition of only 27. Cost $40. On sale now HERE.

He is set to release a new print titled “Lotus War Pyramid” this week. It is a 26″ x 30″ 5-Color Offset, with Red Foil Stamping on Heavy Poster Stock. Has an edition of 555 and is signed/numbered. Daniel Danger will be making prints from his show earlier this summer over at The Cotton Candy Machine available on this website soon. He has about 50 copies of the regular edition, as well as 5 copies of the variant editions left. Also, keep an eye for extra copies of “The Mist” on his website later this week as well. In the midst of preparing for his upcoming Los Angeles exhibition “Artshow 2011”, Mr. Brainwash is releasing a new print titled “Not Guilty”. It is a 22″ x 30″ 5-color Screenprint with hand deckled edges. There are 4 different colors available (each w/ an edition of 30), and is handfinished with paint. Rhy Cooper’s latest offerings featuring his mad-science style approach to portrait art are absolutely killer! “Bad to the Bonez” is a series dedicated to the badass. So far we have seen 2 badasses: Beethoven and Johnny Cash and they are impressive. I certainly hope there is to be more planned in this series. Regardless, these will be open for pre-order on Halloween. Order numbers determine the edition size. GID ink! Keep an eye on his facebook site for updated info on where to preorder…
