This Black Friday Mondo will have their latest Mondo Poster Book Volume IV for sale. They are composed of scratch and dent, otherwise unsellable posters that they hand assemble and bind in leather. Tomorrow we will be releasing 3 new prints that previously premiered here in Austin at Alamo Drafthouse screening events. The first is for RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II by Tomer Hanuka, which premiered at a 5-film Sylvester Stallone film marathon called Stallone Zone. The second and third are two different prints for Oliver Stone’s PLATOON, one by Jay Shaw and the other by Johnny Dombrowski.

“Thor: The Dark World comes out this Friday in theaters and Ken Taylor & Mike Mitchell created posters to be released via Mondo. The Taylor is a 24″ x 36″ Screenprint available in regular (Ed of 400, $50) or variant (Ed of 175, $75). The Mitchell is a 12″ x 16″ Giclee, numbered edition of 250, and cost $50.

Halloween prints from Mondo

There’s very little we can say that accurately expresses how exciting this is for us. When we started this soundtrack label, we never in a million years thought we would be given the opportunity to release one of the most iconic Horror soundtracks in cinema. But here we are…

Tomorrow, we release John Carpenter’s legendary soundtrack for HALLOWEEN as a double LP pressed on 180 Gram black vinyl (with randomly inserted Orange vinyl) cut at 45RPM for optimal sound quality. The track listing contained within, the most comprehensive there is, has never been released on vinyl before, and features brand new artwork by Phantom City Creative.

In conjunction with the release, we are excited to release 2 new posters featuring artwork from the LP, as well as two different limited edition Slip Mats (our first ever).

Tomorrow, we kick off our October with two brand new prints for two lesser known, but widely respected genre films, SPIDER BABY and REVENGE OF THE CREATURE! Ghoulish Gary Pullin created this poster for Jack Hill’s horror / black comedy SPIDER BABY. We previously unveiled this print at a screening event here in Austin. Morning Breath created this poster for the sequel REVENGE OF THE CREATURE, with a variant inspired by its association with another one of our favorite sci-fi sequels.
