“Being a long time fan of David Lynch so I was more than happy to deliver a first ever authorized poster print for one of my favorite movies of all time, “Mulholland Drive”.
This hypnotic, dream-like and surrealistic film with brilliant music and top-notch acting made a huge impact on me back when I was an art student, and I keep coming back to it with great pleasure, discovering something new every time.

There are many unforgettable scenes which I was tempted to focus on when designing this poster and even more hard-to-forget characters I felt I needed to include, but after creating a series of different mock ups, I decided to focus on one character in particular that I personally find most disturbing and interesting. My intention was to design a poster that, when viewed from the distance, portrays a faceless and mysterious Cowboy,
and only after looking from up close reveals other essential characters to the story such as Betty, Rita, Adam Kesher, Coco and more.

Last but not least, with this print I wanted to pay a homage to one of the Polish Poster School masters Waldemar Świerzy and his unbelievably beautiful poster for Midnight Cowboy.” – Gabz
